Legends tend to paint Grainne as a shallow, willful person without much depth to her, but legend and much less history rarely ever truly pays the respect due to strong women. Legends also tend to be vague about her motivations and reasons, so how can one rightly judge a person when they do not clarify the reasons behind actions?
